| Vander Films is owned by Kathryn
Vander, an award-winning film/video producer with many credits to her
name. Her film Walk This
Way about Ron Bachman has received numerous awards and grants including a CINE
Golden Eagle, a Gold Apple Award from the National Educational Media
Market, an Indie and People’s Choice Award from the Indiana Film and
Video Festival and an honorable mention from the Heartland Film
Festival to name a few. Ms. Vander has been producing and
directing for 20 years. She also spent five years teaching video
production at the Specs Howard School of Broadcast Arts. She is on
the board of directors for Detroit Area Film & Television (DAFT), a
non-profit organization dedicated to educating young people about
visual literacy. |

She completed a
documentary based on the life of Cassie Bernall, one of the students
killed at Columbine High School in Colorado and most recently co-produced
the documentary
Silvio…a story about pizza and art. Also just released is

In Bronze, a documentary co-produced with John Prusak about bronze
relief artist Sergio DiGuisti.
In addition to her
documentary films, currently she is the Executive Producer on the
Volkswagen Account for Convergent Media. She has experience in all aspects
of production both in the broadcast and corporate fields.
